It’s Never Too Late to Discover Who You Are in Christ and
All that He Has Planned for YOU!

I’m SO excited you’re here and that I have an opportunity to share the truth I never knew until about 10 years ago!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11

I don’t believe for a second that it’s a mistake you’ve come to this spot.  God works in mysterious ways and often works through others to speak to us, guide us and sometimes even confirm our ideas.  So whatever the reason may be that you’ve stopped by, you’re meant to be here and you’re meant to hear a word or two of Truth!

I started Let’s Talk Truth after many months of prayer and chipping away the things I thought I was supposed to be doing, when one day I heard the Holy Spirit tell me to go back to the beginning.  Almost 10 years ago I went through a very difficult time after being manipulated by a family member (by marriage only) wherein I lost my finances, my freedom and most importantly, myself.  It was here where God began to show himself to me in ways I never thought possible.  And to be fair, at the beginning all I had was the belief there was a God.  I didn’t know what it meant to have a relationship with Him.   But I knew in my heart of hearts that he was bringing me to the truth of who I am and letting me know of the power and authority He’s given me to speak His truth over my life.

At the beginning one of the first statements I began to declare, out loud, over myself was:  “I am the righteousness of God in Christ who loves me!”  This still is one that I speak more than any other, and sometimes I even find myself YELLING it.

What I’m about to share with you may sound strange, new and uncomfortable, but the Bible tells us to speak to the mountain with the power and authority God has given us.

“… if anyone says to this MOUNTAIN, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.”  [emphasis added]
Mark 11:23

Learning your truth is all about discovering who you are in Christ Jesus.  But I believe there is one more very important element to your learning and that is… ready for it?  Speaking God’s Truth OUT LOUD over You. And. Your. Life!!  This doesn’t mean you’re losing it or ready for the funny farm by the way?  I know, it may not come naturally to you – it sure didn’t with me.  It takes getting used to, takes practice, takes a conscious effort and can take reminders (whether that be from other believers, pastors, spiritual warriors, etc.).

An interesting study by the National Science Foundation found that an average person has about 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day and of those, 80% are negative and 95% are repetitive thoughts.  Think of this for a moment: this is a HUGE amount of time where your thoughts are talking you right out of the truth of who you are:

  • You’re not worthy of the promotion
  • You’re not smart enough
  • Who do you think you are?
  • You’re not pretty enough
  • What makes you think people will listen to you?
  • You don’t have enough experience
  • You’re not creative

This is just an example of the thoughts many of us have running through our mind over and over again.  So it’s no surprise why so many of us women find ourselves stuck holding on to the dreams and desires of our heart with no hope that they will ever come true, excepting that what is will always be.

There’s nothing more that the spiritual enemy, the devil – the thief, wants from you and that is YOU!  He is alive and well working through others for the sole purpose to steal, kill and destroy you, keep you from discovering the truth of who you are in Christ.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy…”
John 10:10

This is now where you come in, in a BIG way!  It’s time to begin speaking God’s truth out loud.  Here is where you send the enemy running for cover.  I know, you’re thinking but what do I say, do I have to shout it to the rooftops?  I can help you and no you don’t.  The Bible tells us to renew our minds in God’s truth and to speak His words to the enemy.  For example,

  • Romans 12:2
  • Mark 11:23
  • Philippians 4:9
  • Psalms 46:5
  • Joshua 1:9

It’s now time for You to begin speaking YOUR TRUTH!
